Halloween at Loara High School is always a vibrant celebration, where ghoulish getups and festive energy fill the halls. This year was no exception, with students and staff embracing the spooky spirit from start to finish. Throughout the day, members of the Community Schools Club dashed across campus, delivering Boo Grams—little notes of Halloween cheer—to surprised recipients. Meanwhile, ASB (Associated Student Body) members were hard at work, transforming the quad into a Halloween-themed arena for the day’s main event: the annual Halloween Pep Rally.
As the clock struck noon, the crowd gathered, buzzing with anticipation. First on stage was Loara’s beloved KPOP Dance Team, captivating the audience with a performance that brought modern KPOP hits to life, complete with precise moves, synchronized steps, and high-energy flair. The dancers wore costumes that blended Halloween with KPOP glam, giving a spine-tingling yet stylish show that had the crowd cheering. Next up, the cheerleading squad took over, dazzling everyone with their spine-chilling zombie routine. Their eerie makeup and perfectly coordinated stunts created an air of suspense, as they flipped, tumbled, and soared through the air with seamless precision. Each move brought chills, and the squad’s polished stunts showed their commitment and skill, earning them roaring applause and admiration from their peers.
After the performances, the highlight of the day arrived: the announcement of this year’s Senior Superlatives, otherwise known as “Senior Favorites.” These distinctions, chosen entirely by the Senior Class, celebrate students’ unique qualities, talents, and personalities, immortalizing them in the 2024-2025 yearbook.
