This year marks a significant milestone for Loara High School as we proudly launched our inaugural Girls’ Flag Football team. From the first practice to the final whistle of each game, these athletes have shown remarkable strength, resilience, and dedication. Every play, every pass, and every touchdown reflects the hard work they’ve put into building a program that we know will be a lasting legacy.
The heart and soul of this team have been undoubtedly led by our seniors—Abbagail Fernandez, Sinamapu Fina’i, Alyssa Navarro, Alyssa Miller, and Angela Ngo—whose leadership on and off the field has created an environment of unity and ambition. These young women have set a high standard for all future players, establishing traditions that will inspire those who follow in their footsteps. Their teamwork, sportsmanship, and passion have made every game a testament to their character and commitment. Along with our seniors, other standout players include Sophia Rangel, Hannah Tran, Dulce Espinoza, and Jazlyn Gerard.
Behind the scenes, none of this would be possible without the tireless efforts of our dedicated coach, Joseph Stirrat. His, guidance, and encouragement have empowered our athletes to rise to new heights. His influence has not only helped shape these girls into fierce competitors but has also fostered a culture of positivity, sportsmanship, and growth.
As we reflect on this remarkable first season, we are filled with pride and excitement for the future of Loara High School Flag Football. This season is just the beginning, and the foundation laid by this inaugural team will continue to build a legacy of excellence for years to come. We look forward to the growth of the team Melissa Monje, Kiara Elizondo, Leslie Levya Mundo, Rachel Alexander, Crystal Carrillo, Erendy Coronel, and Valeria Rodriguez.
Thank you to everyone—our players, coaches, and fans—who have made this season an unforgettable success. Here’s to many more victories, both on and off the field!
Go Saxons!
